This policy explains what information Emriel (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our dashboard and the emails we send and receive through our platform.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: such as your name, work email, company, website, the segments you approve and anything you send us when you contact us.
- Information collected automatically: such as device and browser details, IP address, pages visited and how you use our dashboard, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
- Information from other sources: such as business contact details from public sources and data providers, used to find and reach the right people at companies.
- Emails on our platform: the content and metadata of emails sent and received through Emriel, including outreach and the replies to it.
How we use information
- To provide, run and support our services, including sending outreach and handling replies.
- To bill for our services and manage accounts.
- To communicate with you, including service updates and responses to your questions.
- To improve our models and operations. We use emails sent and received on our platform to train, test and optimise our models, campaigns, deliverability and day-to-day operations.
- To keep our services secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
How we share information
- With our customers: when a prospect replies with interest, that reply and their contact details are shared with the customer the outreach was sent for.
- With service providers: who help us with hosting, email delivery, data, analytics and payments, under contracts that limit how they use it.
- For legal reasons: where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- In a business transfer: such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to provide our services, improve our models and operations, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it.
Your choices and rights
- Opting out: every outreach email lets you opt out, and we'll stop contacting you.
- Your rights: depending on where you live, you may be able to access, correct, delete or export your information, or object to or restrict how we use it.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
To make a request, email support@emriel.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top, and where changes are significant we'll let customers know.
